Dates are bad enough, and then there’s geography … Amalgamating places is great as you say - or just inventing some. I’m writing a Western so I guess I’m allowed to put more poetry (blarney) in it lol One thing I find difficult is estimating how long it would take people to get from a to b on horseback over such and such terrain (the vastness of the American landscape baffles me) But I’d rather write this than fantasy with its world building.

Will you have a bibliography/ further reading as part of the back matter?
